Why Simplify?

Reasons why I decided to live simply. Really I wanted to be a good steward of my body, my possessions, and the world around me. 

  1. I found my stress levels were higher when my living spaces were cluttered, messy, or disorganized. The less time I spent dealing with my stuff and looking through stuff for other things the less stress I felt. 
  2. The more I decluttered the more creative I became. I began to get into creative projects instead of spending my time looking for new items to add to my collection of stuff. 
  3. Decluttering helps my mind focus on my tasks at hand. Clutter tries to grab your attention making you less productive or concentrated. 
  4. Decluttering reduces time wasted. I no longer waste time looking through my things for one singular item. I now know where everything is and the stress of not being able to find something is gone.
