Reasons why I decided to live simply. Really I wanted to be a good steward of my body, my possessions, and the world around me.
- I found my stress levels were higher when my living spaces were cluttered, messy, or disorganized. The less time I spent dealing with my stuff and looking through stuff for other things the less stress I felt.
- The more I decluttered the more creative I became. I began to get into creative projects instead of spending my time looking for new items to add to my collection of stuff.
- Decluttering helps my mind focus on my tasks at hand. Clutter tries to grab your attention making you less productive or concentrated.
- Decluttering reduces time wasted. I no longer waste time looking through my things for one singular item. I now know where everything is and the stress of not being able to find something is gone.
